Grace is NOT forgiveness. The meaning of grace is "God given instructions that brings salvation" page 1:1, Book
of Adaam. Titus 2:11-15 clearly defines GRACE, yet few Christians know what Grace is. Most Pastors don't preach the Bible.
But Adaam does.....Titus 2:10-15
... adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things. For the Grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all
men, teaching us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
looking for the blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and Savior Yahshua Messiah; who gave himself for
us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak
and exhort, and REBUKE WITH ALL AUTHORITY. LET NO MAN DESPISE THEE. (end)
There you have it. Grace is instruction... "Grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching
us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we should live godly, awaiting the appearing of our Savior and great God Jesus
Messiah, that he MIGHT purify unto himself a separate different people".
Yes, this passage also declares Jesus to be God, for all you Messianics who don't believe Yahshua is YHVH. This passage
calls God (the Father) the Savior, and then calls Jesus the Savior. Both are YHVH. Read the link CRISIS DIVINITY CRISIS concerning
the global movement against Jesus' divinity.
Back to GRACE. Grace is instruction; how to please God and bless yourself. When a Christian is saved, a new creation emerges
from a habitual sinful creature from the black lagoon. The new creation yearns for Godly instruction to purify oneself from
the ways of the old creation.
Grace is a change of lifestyle. Grace is action. When God gives grace, God is giving instruction for you to APPLY. Grace
is NOT FORGIVENESS of sins!!
GRACE IS NOT MERCY.
So what is MERCY? Turn back to Titus chapter 3:4-7 There is the Biblical definition of MERCY.
... kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according
to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Ruach HaKodesh, Holy Spirit; which he shed on
us abundantly through Yahshua Messiah our Savior; That being justified by his grace (God given instructions), we should be
made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (end)
There you have it, but how rarely do you hear a pastor preach the biblical meaning of MERCY. Mercy is the kindness and
love from God, that washes us with regeneration, renewing us through the effort of the Holy Spirit person.
Mercy is the DIVINE YEARN for more Grace, desire to apply instructions for Godly living. Mercy desires more regeneration,
renewing, more Holy Spirit to APPLY the instructions (grace). This is why Paul always begins his epistles "grace and
mercy" to you. They come hand in hand. They are the YIN and YANG twins. They complement each other.
Grace is the instruction and Mercy is "another chance", as in daily assistance in application of godly instruction.
The (mercy) assistance comes from the Holy Spirit.
Verse 8 says "being justified (forgiven) by his grace, we should be made heirs to the hope of eternal blissful life."
Some grace can be applied through sheer determination, but everyone will eventually need help to fully apply the grace received.
The Holy Spirit's prodding in humans for applying grace in daily living is called... MERCY. For this reason, mercy and grace
directly result in forgiveness of sins because both work together to create SANCTIFICATION. For this reason grace and mercy
are thought to mean "justification, forgiveness, absolution".
Grace and mercy work in SYNERGY to create DAILY SANCTIFICATION through our physical obedience to God's instructions, the
TORAH. Doing good deeds and denial of the flesh are actions that fall under obedience to Torah, because the Torah commands
such things.
We must pursue SANCTIFICATION in our daily living. Grace and Mercy are God's tools that WE humands work with, for our
sanctification.
The Torah, the Law of Moses, is a form of God's grace. The instructions of God are not the opposite of GRACE. The law
is not diametrically opposed to Mercy or Grace. The Torah had been an incomplete Grace from God, whereas Yahshua Messiah is
the fullness of Grace. Not until Yahshua brought fullness to Torah, explaining his Divine clarification and interpretation,
was Torah application complete, fully applicable. Thus the verses, John 1:16, 17
and of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the Torah was given through Moshe, but grace
and truth came by Yahshua Messiah.
Was there truth before Yahshua appeared? Is there truth i the Old Testament stories? YES. Was there Grace in the Old Testament?
Yes.
The point being made in verses 16,17, With Moses, Yahshua gave Torah grace but allowed Moses' interpretation first, then
with Yahshua's preaching, the clarification and interpretation and fullness of grace of Torah Truth came after.
Hence the term, His fullness we have all received, grace for grace.
