Phillipians 2:5-11 will prove Jesus is YHVH.
This is the complaint I hear often "If Jesus was God, why did he act like a human and call upon God like we humans
do? How can Jesus be God, he never claimed to be the Father, Jesus only claimed to be a son of God".
Phillipians 2:5-11 explains why the title "God" (Elohim) usually refers to the Father. It is true that Jesus
is called YHWH, "the GREAT I AM" often, but Theos, Elohim, God refers to the Father most of the time. This section
of Phillipians is an interpretation of a passage in Isaiah 45.
The quotes are my commentary.
"...let this mind be in you, which also was in Messiah Yahshua: who being in the form of Elohim (God),
although it was NOT thievery to claim to be equal with God
(could have demanded being called God, as God's equal)
but made himself (Jesus) of no reputation,
and took the form of a slave,
and was made in the likeness of men (likeness, but not the same as all humans)
but being found in appearance as just a man,
(inhibiting divine powers in order to not reveal his nature to enemies prematurely.)
.... he humbled himself (temporarily did not demand respect and status of being YHWH GOD)
... thus God (the Father) also hath highly exalted to the highest place, and gave him a name above every name, that by
the name of YAHshua every knee should bow, in heaven, on earth and under the earth...
(Yah is the highest name, being the root of Yahshua, just like in JahJireh, or YahNissi, or YHroffa, or YhVh)
... that every tongue confess that Yahshua Messiah is YHVH, to the glory of God the Father." (Isaiah 45:23)
Paul specifically quotes from Isaiah 45:25 "every tongue confess that YHShua is YHVH", there is no difference
in Paul's mind to add YHshua to Isaiah's verse. Paul is "adding" Yahshua, not me, and he is not actually adding
but clarifying the prophetic meaning of Isaiah's passage.
Isaiah 45:21-25 God YHVH is speaking about Himself,
"Who has declared this from ancient time? have not I the YHVH? and there is NO ELOHIM else beside me; a just Elohim
and SAVIOR; there is NONE BESIDE ME.
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, for there is none else. I have sworn by myself, the word has
gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, THAT UNTO ME EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW, EVERY TONGUE SHALL CONFESS.
Surely will one say, "In YHVH I have righteousness and strength'; even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed
against him shall be ashamed. In YHVH shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory." END
There are born again congregations and pastors who openly preach some or all of the following doctrines...
Jesus is the Messiah, the Only Son of GOd, but not YHVH.
Jesus had been an Angel of the Lord before being born as a superman.
He was not born the Messiah, he achieved mental enlightenment and thus, he earned the right to be the Son of God, and
This dogma opens the door for another Messiah Son of David. if Jesus could achieve enlightenment, someone else today could
also earn the title Messiah. This is exactly what Orthodox Rabbis hope for in their modern idea of Messiah. Any one who forces
military peace in the Middle East, and claims to be a spiritually enlightened descendant of King David, is their Messiah.
The confusion arises due to a lack of reading the Old Testament. Many popular Christian phrases quoted by the Apostles
are actually quotes from a Bible prophet. Jesus claimed to be Jehovah, YHVH, Elohim, YAH, Adonai, HaShem many times. Believers
openly declared Jesus to be YHVH many times, in UNDISPUTED TEXTS.
Ignorance of the Hebrew mindset context has led to debate over Jesus' divinity.
#1 It is correct to assume the usage of "God" refers to the Father Abba, unless otherwise specified. We humans
must address the Father with the utmost respect, JUST LIKE JESUS DID! He was our example how WE should address the Father
God, hence Yahshua did not continually demand to be treated equal to God, yet he could have done so.
Jesus is human today (in the form of man) still.
#2 "All will bow and all tongue confess that Yahshua is YHVH", is Paul's understanding of the verse in Isaiah
45. The Apostle Paul is emphatically declaring Jesus to be YHVH the Savior. Jesus is 100% Jewish human. All Jews have a Father
in heaven. The proper title all Jews use for God is "Father God", regardless of believing in Jesus or not.
Just because Jesus calls the Father "God", it does not exclude himself from being divine also. He alone claimed
to be divine. No one else claimed to be the ONLY begotten of the Father, which is not equal to being a son of God, but rather,
being equal in legal matters to God the Father.
This in NO WAY eliminates Jesus from being YHVH. Think of it this way, if God (the Father) declares Mr. Bryant to be "God",
does the declaration take away from the Father's divinity? Hmmm? No.
If God declares YAHshua to be God, does this exclude the Father from being God?
Admit it... the answer is NO.
Jesus would have been justified in demanding the title God, but instead opted for allowing the Father, and Christians
to testify to his divinity. John 5:31, 37, 39. Verse 31 says "If I bear witness of myself, my testimony is not true."
That is why Jesus seldomly refers to himself as God, but I declare it. Will you?
Each time Yahshua calls himself the Son of God, he is saying that he is equal with God, John 5:18. Oh but of course anti
-trinitarians don't translate John 5:18 like mainstream scholars do. To them, John 5:18 does not say, "equal with God".
Just like the Jehovah Witness New world translation adds "the word is 'a' God" in John 1:1. If you don't agree with
mainstream theology, yes you can just write your own translation. Please click on Global false doctrine crisis, for further
biblical proof of Yahshua's divinity.
HERE IS THE KEY.
Confusion arises because Jesus never INSISTED on constantly being referred to as God, although it would not have been
thievery to want TO BE EQUAL WITH GOD! It would have been just for him to be treated as equal with GOD. We believers are to
testify that YHVH is the only SAVIOR, there is none other.
If you ask for Yahshua to "save you of your sins" in the Biblical understanding, you are accepting 2 doctrines,
that Yahshua is YHWH the only saviour, and that Yahshua is the Messiah.
It isn't necessary to grasp this mystery, but it must be accepted. It is necessary to accept scripture, there is only
ONE saviour, YHWH, there is only ONE God. Yahshua is the saviour, hence... Yahshua is the only God.
